This is Alex, and I put myself down as a part-timer, because I’m not entirely sure when I’ll be free to help.
I’ve spoken to the organisers and they know there is a large contingent of us coming down to stay at the non-period encampment, so that’s cool, they know we’re coming.
They’ve asked me to remind you that if you are interested in taking part in any of the tournaments or battles (details at www.taupojoust.com) you need to contact Nic Harrison to make an individual registration.
Is everyone who is intending to come down got transport? Is there anyone who hasn’t yet got themselves transport?

in addition to what anna said, you can register through the site (http://www.taupojoust.com/registration.aspx) if you want to fight, which I think Nic would find preferable to an email, but you need to be quick.
I have just realised that I don’t actually have a tent, so does anyone either have spare room in theirs or have one to spare? I’ll even shower you in hugs.
I have a 2-man dome tent that can be borrowed by a RESPONSIBLE person provided they pick it up (from Dannemora) and return it clean, undamaged and properly packed; or replace it if damaged.
I also have a small 2-man ridge tent that is smaller, heavier and harder to put up but can be borrowed under the same rules. Or I’ll dontate it to NZLARPS if Mike wants it to be part of the gear library.
OK we have a 4 man crew going down. Myself, Justin, Muppet and my flatmate Emran. We are bringing our own tent nd stuff and will be going down Friday morning. If people want to convoy on the journey down there and take in a few sights as we go the more the merrier. Also I posted as a part timer to help with nzlarps stand.
