So as you can see we have begun to send out characters for the Gordian knot, but it will take a while so please be patient. if you haven’t received anything from us by the end of next week let us know.
OK, one third of the initial character briefs have been sent so far. With over 100 players its taking a while.
And yes, the bit about your particular character is rather brief. But there is information about the world in general for you to digest. Further details for your characters’ own planet and other people in your group (where appropriate) will be sent out (hopefully) in a few weeks.
Will let you know here when all the blurbs have been sent, so you can check your spam boxes.

We have not forgotten you, and indeed it is our priority to get these out ASAP. There are 3 main writers and we are all working full time, so time, and more importantly energy to creatively write, is limited.
Once these are all sent we can focus on getting everyone the information about their other group members. Your patience in this regard is appreciated.
Just to remind people that the email we sent out has a paragraph right at the bottom which outlines your character.
It also has attachments which we expect you to have read.

Yes you will be getting more information about your characters, probably after the planet details. The amount of information given in these first blurbs varies between the writers.
Ryan is setting us up some private forums for the faction groups here at Diatribe. (Note faction group is not necessarily the planet you come from.) So I will be adding people to them as their info is ready to be published, so peoples can discuss costuming, shared general backgrounds etc. We trust you not to spill your character secrets before the game starts.
Note there are some independent characters that do not fall into a particular faction, so you won’t get a private forum sorry, however we will still notify you of any important characters you’re involved with.

Having got my e-mail and having looked it all over - Zara is now going nuts - unfortunatly she is doing my costuming (as usual) and has a fair idea of who or what i am… I went deaf for a few moments during the initial squee.
The Gordian Knot is now full. We have opened a waiting list for those who are still interested.
I haven’t got my character yet. Should I be worried?
nah, neither have I but in the words of a gm, someone has to be last, looks like thats both of us.
Umm, yeah, sorry some people haven’t been cast yet, we’ve have had some new players register, and am making new characters for them, so fiddling with some of the un-cast characters/players a bit. Sorry for the delay, I’ve been working on it solidly all weekend, but still needs more work. Will advise when we have finished sending out all the emails.

I got a detailed planet blurb with some details on my group members. Omg-omg-omg, can you change the headings font please? It physically hurts me to read it, I can’t understand what my planetmates names are! I had to copy and paste them to a different program to actually read. I really hope when I get the next bit of character stuff it would be less painful. Please?

Awesome, absolutely LOVE my character and got some awesome ideas for him - will there be plenty of new people there? I’m not exactly experience but my character may be (without giving anything away) scary or intimidating.
Also will we be told about characters we have met out of game - but would know? One of the things i was a wee bit worried about was having to find my sister at the Great Exhibition (i did eventually and she was awesome) but it would be easier to know who is linked to us? Theat being said i know it wont be easy for gms to do that so you wont hear any complaints from me if it’s not doable
I got the impression they were going to create private forums for many of the factions, so provided your character tie-in people are on diatribe, you’ll probably have had some contact with them beforehand.
Oh yeah i also read this, but some of the people im tied to are outside of my faction >.<
