I have come by a modern black leather jacket, size large, that anyone is welcome to borrow if it would suit one of their characters. It arrived under the hedge outside my house one morning. Is in good condition and on the stylish side.
Does anyone have a long coat they could lend, that might suit the western game? Maybe leather or some rough material, not army. Size medium or small.
Despite presuming all was well, having organised costumes, I realise that I lack suitcases and sleeping bags (turns out the provider of these is going to be away the same weekend, taking these items with them, and advised me otherwise previously). So, I’m frantically searching round for something to stash the stuff in for my parter and myself, as well as something warm to sleep in at the camp.
Anyone in Wellington have two spare suitcases and two spare sleeping bags that I could pick up sometime this week?
I’m looking for some “medium” armour for one of my players for Knightshade (Saturday morning). To fit a male, approx 5’10" and of slim build.

I’m nearly set. I think. Even got a Bowler hat for Refuge. Although I still need a gun- at least, I don’t have one, not sure if I need one. Ah well. Now that I’ve got all my costumes ready, the excitement is building even faster. Bring on Friday!
yeah, I don’t understand what all this talk about needing a gun is for. I mean - its just a party isn’t it - what do we need guns for?

does anyone have a larp safe cavalry sabre or similar that I could borrow for Refuge? Also I should probably look for a holster… probably not appropriate for me to have a pistol just slung in my belt. 
I have the same question regarding guns. Have some people received details or character sheets that say you need one? Do we ALL need one? Does it just go without saying in this genre?
I have no holster, but I do have a 6yo son, so I’m pretty sure I can find a plastic gun here somewhere, not sure how period it will be tho.
To be honest, I am just assuming with my character I am going to need a gun. Whether everyone would be carrying I have no idea
Whereas I’m assuming that as a good honest person, I won’t - or at least, I wouldn’t bring it to a 4th of July party.
What next? People will be bringing their six shooters to church?

Hi guys - just to clear things up about guns:
If you are an outlaw or a lawman/sheriff - you should probably have a gun. It’s ok to carry pistols around in a holster. It is NOT ok to carry shotguns around - people would very much look down on That Sort of Thing, especially the proprietress.
If you are a gunslinger of some kind, but not necessarily a criminal or outlaw, you probably never part with your guns as a matter of course.
If you are a nobleman/woman - you don’t carry guns and probably couldn’t shoot one.
If you are an officer - you have a service revolver and maybe a sword.
If you are a common soldier - you’re not carrying your rifle tonight.
If you’re a regular townsperson eg a rancher or farmer you wouldn’t have brought your guns to the celebrations
If you have a secret reason to be carrying a gun, which will become apparent on the full character sheets - you have a gun, but not visible in a holster.

Argh! I had a hunt around last night and couldn’t find them! Sorry no overalls!
If anyone needs a pair of brown ankle-high notquite cowboy boots, then I just acquired a pair (which sadly do not fit me).
“Size 9”, though I think that’s a women’s 9 rather than a men’s.
