Ouch. Friday night is going to be a tragic choice I see. But fortunately I can play Diamond Geezers in Wellington.

cries Damn it! The game choice is too good! Any choice I make is a tragedy as I have to miss other really cool games.

And unlike a restraunt menu, we don’t get to go back and play the other ones (well, unless we go to Battlecry or something).

There are so many fun looking games it didn’t really matter how they ordered them. It was still going to be “noooooo, game clash!”

maybe we could get a couple repeated next year? or run separately? I was hoping for the birthday party game to be repeated, but I know it has played in Auckland and Wellington already.

Its on the web, so people could just run it up there. Ditto Middenburg.

And weren’t a lot of last year’s games rerun at Battlecry?

Quite possibly. I don’t know. I couldn’t go to Battlecry. I managed Nikki’s birthday lunch and that was it.

My game’s on Sunday morning? Like, I’m going to have be alert the morning after the Saturday night Western?[/wail]
Er. Hard call on setting up the timetable, Anna - good job.

There’s a copy of the birthday game up here, along with some other splosh games that were also run at Kapcon. I’m happy for people to run it, just, y’know, tell me how it went?

Right, I think I’ve made my choices  now just need somewhere to make it official

This is proving to be the hardest to costume.

You ain’t half kidding mate. This is going to be interesting…

I need to find out who I’m going to be before I can even begin to think about it.

I figure that from your description of the game, the characters are meant to be tired, harried and not quite onto it

I still think it’s funny I’m going to leave California to go play in a gold-rush Western.

ahhh tragic choices! which does mean that the quality of games seems to be high! and sacrifices must be made, especially because we will have to get ready for refuge. ahhhhhrg…

We will endeavor to send out your characters very quickly after you make your selections. You will receive a VERY brief character description, enough to tell you who you are and what to wear. We are doing this because we do not want character secrets revealed before the game. You will get full character sheets before the game so you will have time to fully get into your characters.

Brilliant. Thanks so much. Makes it easier when figuring out what I need to haul up from Wellington

How is casting going to work? Do we pick names from a cast list, or fill out a questionnaire, or what?

Thanks!

It’s game dependent. Some of the games, like a Town called Refuge, character issuance will be done by questionnaire, some games, like Knightshade will require character generation for their games, and some games, like All the Presidents Zombies, it’s first come first serve. It really depends on the GM.
