The Flight of the Hindenburg

No man, that’d be perfect as he’s one of the less complex ones. Wanna book him? C’mon, it’s going to be a blast!

And all you need is a crazy wig.
Yeah! It’s going to be an epic night, you’ll have a great time
epic , now how can I pass on that

I am in.
Now to find a wig and tweed jacket.
Off to the op shop.

Only a couple of male and a couple of female characters left now.

Anyone who is playing characters who start with items, if you would like to provide props that would be very welcome. Email me and let me know if you’re doing this. We’ll attach item cards to the props on the night.

Where it says [provided] you shouldn’t need to provide props - this is mostly for charity cheques and similar paper props.

I’ll be attempting to provide props where player’s can’t, but in some cases we’ll make do with just the item cards - as they did in the Wellington run.

I actually have one of these I can lend out for the weekend. Remember the wild tina-turner wig I used for the necrotaur-raising necromancer at Mordavia?

This character would be so much fun, just bably incomprehensible pseudoscience in a german accent and reminisce about your fling with Maralyn Monroe.

Speaking of props- anyone got, or know where I can get something like, a 1930s German air captain’s hat? I’ve looked on TradeMe and the Army Surplus Store. (Well, I found a military cap on TradeMe for $40. I was hoping not to have to pay that much- and it’s not even the right period…)

I will take you up on that steve

Now to find some fluff for my mo.
Hope I get to use my ability :bulb:

Creepy, when the Hindenburg went down, she was 10 (Born June 1926, went down May 1937).

Please note that Dr Heidi Eckener has changed back to Dr Hugo Eckener, as the role has been filled by a guy.

There are only four characters remaining:

Charles Lindbergh
Clark Gable
Joseph Kennedy
Major Sabrina Rahn

They’re all great characters with unexpected twists, like all the others in the game. Get in before they’re gone.

Here’s a video of the real Hindenburg circling Manhatten, just like you guys are about to do.

The size of that thing is insane.

Should get you in the mood!

And here it is flying in colour, with Hugo Eckener talking at the start I think:

Don’t worry too much about the part at the end where it bursts into flames and crashes. What are the odds of that happening at the game?

Speaking of flames, does anybody remember if the hall at Motu Moana has heaters? I’m wearing a nice dress to Hindenburg, but alas, like most dresses, it’s made of entirely impractical fabrics and is quite breezy.

So, uh, heaters?

Looking at the camp’s photos of the hall, I think I can see a heater.

Oh good grief. I hadn’t even thought about warmth! Argh! For some mental reason I was picturing flash indoor (warm) gala party OOC as well as IC. Dufus!l. /facepalm.

50/50

50/50
Well this is supposed to be the maiden flight…theoreticly and historicly she shouldn’t crash for exactly 1 year…

But then I’m on a the maiden flight with Indiana Jones, Albert Einstein and Biggles… so whats history realy got to do with it

I don’t understand. Was Albert Einstein not real?

thats true he was, but he never rubbed shoulders with the likes of Indiana and Biggles (who weren’t)

There are only three characters remaining.

When the last character goes, can you tell us who they are?

I just want to know which character is the pariah*

*no offence intended to any actual Pariahs
