Regional Committee Nominations for 2012-2013

Hello all,

As you will have seen elsewhere, the AGM is being held on September 19th. The Regional and National AGMs will both be held on the same night. This thread is for nominations for the Regional Committee- posts up for election are:

Regional Director- currently Ellen Boucher
Secretary-currently Chris Rosedale
Treasurer-currently Anthony Doornebosch
Gear Officer-currently Scott Kelly
Marketing Officer-currently Bryn Jones
Ordinary Member x 2- currently Brooklynne Kennedy and Donna Giltrap

Nomination closing date for Regional positions is 19th September at 5pm.

Slightly off topic, but could someone enlighten me as to what the Ordinary Member / General Officer’s do?

“Sanity checks”

Which means no specific duties, but help out as required, and contribute to discussion. The RGM will have to vote first whether those positions are necessary before any election to them is held (so people could be nominated and seconded for a position which may not in fact exist).

If you want to help out, but none of the fixed positions seem to match your skills, then general officer is a good starting point.
