Cheers Mike. I’m impressed with them too, especially the points. You can deform them to 90 degrees and they’ll pop right back to straight looking like new. And the latex coating is thick and durable with a dark metallic look.
TWO-HANDED SWORD
A few people were interested in plain two-handed swords. The closest thing I can suggest is this Drow sword, which is one of seven evil & knighty longswords I didn’t list above. If anyone is interested in the others ask and I’ll put them up.
Drow $193.50 ($135.45), $207.00 ($144.90), $218.25 ($152.78)
At 107.5cm long and with a long grip, this is probably your best bet at a two-handed sword. Hilts come in purple, blue and black for extra evilness.
DAGGERS
Okay, here are some of the daggers available. They are all 45cm long.
Squire $81.00 ($56.70)
Plain straight-forward dagger.
Ranger $103.50 ($72.45)
Celtic $103.50 ($72.45)
Noble $103.50 ($72.45)
Tanto $103.50 ($72.45)
Oriental-style to go with your Samurai/Ninja gear.
Orc $117.00 ($81.90)
Drow $117.00 ($81.90)
Elf $117.00 ($81.90)
AXES
For all your wood-chopping and skull-cleaving requirements. These are beautiful, exactly the kind of realistic-looking larp axes I’ve been hoping to find.
Woodsman $184.50 ($129.15)
At 61cm, a great hand-axe.
Battleaxe $229.50 ($160.65)
At 85cm, good length for a primary weapon without being too long to be unwieldy in one hand.
Dwarven Battleaxe $328.50 ($229.95)
87.5 cm long and built for two-handed use.
That’s it for weapons. Next up and finally is leatherwork.
Actually, there are a few more weapons of a special category. Unfortunately I don’t have photos available at the moment, will put them here if/when I get them.
SHORTER SWORDS SUITABLE FOR YOUTHS
This is a set of 75cm swords made with a slightly softer foam. They are suitable for children 6 and up, but could also be used as off-hand weapons
and would be perfect for cheaply equipping a group of monsters with slightly shorter weapons.
Warrior $90.00 ($63.00)
A plain shortsword. I have one of these and they’re nice, it’s the shortsword that Mike and Derek have seen. Steel hilt.
Orc $103.50 ($72.45)
A blood-stained one-edged cleaver-sword, perfect for monsters. Steel hilt.
Ninja $103.50 ($72.45)
A slimmer sword with one-edged oriental design. Green hilt.
Here are the leather goods. I have example of some of these, they are very nicely made.

STOP TRYING TO MAKE ME SPEND MONEY I DONT HAVE!!!
ARRRGGGHHHHH!!!
Hey man, no one is making you look at the pretty pictures.
That’s everything, barring a couple of swords that I think are silly-looking. I’ve gone back to the swords post and added three more swords at the end, check 'em out.
I’d like to take payments and make this order in the next couple of weeks. They’ll take a few weeks to arrive. PM me or email me at ryan@mordavia.com to make orders.
Bank account for order payments is:

Hmmm so much I would like to have. Still have to win lotto to afford anything, even at the discount rate.
Ahhh dreams are free.
Jared
Is there anyone else out there who would like stuff but is hesitating to contact me for whatever reason? If so, let me know what would get you buying. Do you just have everything you want, or not have money for it at the moment, or what? Anyone planning to get something but hasn’t decided what yet?
I’ve had a few orders so far but it’s been limited. I was expecting to get more interest in the nice new Squire longwords that are only $94 for NZLARPS members, that seems like a deal to me.
Yep. But it all comes down to justifying cost.
I want a sword hanger, standard beserker bracers and greaves & some assorted weaponry like a drow knife and a hand axe to supplement the morningstar I just purchased, plus some other costume I want from other sources. Not much change from several hundred dollars, if not more.
From talking to some Hamilton larpers who have all ohhhed and ahhhed over your new items, they’d dearly love several items but baulk at the cost as reasonable as it seems.
A lot of people have trouble with costs over $50, a lot of peoples total costume & gear has cost less than that (like handmande chainmail and boffer weapons).

If you can get a syndicate together for a big purchase, I’ll bring the price down as much as possible for that purchase. Getting more orders will help reduce my shipping cost per item so enable me to pass on cheaper prices for you. Get me a big list of stuff you want and I’ll get you the best price I can for them.
My first goal with Paddywhack is to bring New Zealand larps up to speed with high-quality kit. Money-making is secondary, which is lucky or I’d have given up by now!
My only hesitation is waiting to get paid and then seeing what my budget is.
Amen to that. I make a small amount of stuff I sell. My main aim is to get more people in better kit and to cover the costs of tools, materials and to have some beer in the fridge so when I’ve finished hammering out a piece of steel I can quench my thirst.
Gavin mentioned hand-and-a-half swords on the other thread. This is kinda in that realm I guess, one of the couple I hadn’t posted cos it’s a variation on one I showed (the Crusader).
Templer Crusader $157.50 ($110.25), $171.00 ($119.70), $184.50 ($129.15)
Similar to the Crusader but with a recurve in the blade. At 104.5cm it’s one of the longer swords, and if the grip length is the same as the Crusader then I can use it two-handed although people with larger hands might not be able to as it’s a close fit.
Ranger $157.50 ($110.25), $171.00 ($119.70), $184.50 ($129.15)
And for completeness, here’s the last longsword.
I’m going to make the order on Thursday, so anybody who is keen to order some of these new items please get me your order before then.
I won’t be bringing in anything like the whole range, so if you have specific preferences I recommend you order it now so you get the item you want.
I’m putting the order together tonight.
Probably I’ll just bring in the items people have ordered, along with some Squire longswords and daggers. I find that simple & less expensive longswords and daggers sell most easily whereas unique items can sit around not going anywhere for a long time.
Whistle if you’ve been waiting until the last moment. Or if there’s something that you’re pretty sure you’ll want later but don’t have money for now. I may bring it in.
Going forward I’ll also be taking special orders for the whole range once or twice a year.
I made the order some time ago, but the supplier is having a delay with materials. Apologies to those who have ordered, will keep you updated on progress here.
Still, this does mean that if anyone else would like to order something the opportunity is still open.
I’ve had a couple of PMs about this order, so I thought I should clear things up here.
The order is still underway. The suppliers have been in contact with me recently to apologise for the massive delay. Their problems with sourcing materials have gone on longer than expected.
I’ve asked them to get the order processed and sent as soon as possible. In order to speed this along, it may be that one or two of the weapons will not be able to be included in the order. If that’s the case I will refund the people who have paid for those weapons. We can order them again later, when the suppliers have the required materials.
Sorry again for the big delay, thanks for your patience.
Ryan
I’ve just got back from Rarotonga, and the new weapons are here waiting for me!
Unfortunately the axes couldn’t be included, nor the samurai sword. I’ll discuss options with the people affected, I’m happy to refund you or reorder the weapons.
I’m assured that the time taken for this and the unavailable items was a one-off glitch, future orders should be fast.
If you’ve ordered something you can contact me at ryan@mordavia.com to arrange pickup - I’m at home today and some of this weekend.
Cheers,
Ryan
