NZLARPS AGM 2013 - National Committee Nominations

Hi,

Thank you for the nomination as Marketing Officer, I don’t feel I can commit enough time to the role to accept the responsibility. I’ll continue to do design work for the community helping out with Kapcon, Hydra and Chimera, as I think that’s where my time is best spent.

And it looks like its been done (barring a few people whose payments are presumably difficult to track down).

Looks like I had this wrong, I must have been thinking of Idiot being nominated for the Marketing position in Wellington.

If there are any more nominations to come in please get them in today. I am just checking the venue and about to set the date for the AGM.

We still have no accepted nomination for National Treasurer, which is a core position.

Okay we really need nominations for every position if we can. And I need these as soon as possible so I can set a date for the AGM. Please people spread the word.

Okay having read through the above thread here are the current National Nominations:

National President: Michelle (Nominated and accepted), Rowena (Nominated and accepted)
National Treasurer: Jon Ball (Nominated), James Cooper (Nominated)
National Secretary: Rowena (Nominated and accepted), Idiot (Nominated and accepted), Russ Kale (Nominated and accepted)
National Marketing Officer: No current nominations*
National IT Officer: Nicholas Wolf (Nominated and accepted)

If Anna Klein’s membership wasn’t expired I would nominate her for National Marketing Officer.

But I gather we’re going to have the National AGM under the old 2 month rule, change the constitution there, and then call the Regional AGMs when the change is in place?

Yeah because the 2 month rule needs to be voted on at an AGM or SGM and then registered before it can take effect.

If we can’t find all the candidates we need for the national committee, and there are people who are willing but not eligible under the 2-month rule, then we could consider first having a national SGM to change the constitution, then holding both the national and regional AGMS later once the eligibility rules have changed.

Are there people who are willing but not eligible?

Im willing to look at doing the National Marketing but i was trying to find a bit more about it first. im paid up so no issues there (that i know of) and i have some experience albeit a long time ago know from when i was working in Sales in Whitcoulls as well as more recently organising for 2008 Nation Science Fiction Convention which included some more marketing and other duties.

Hi Everyone

We have everything registered with the Societies office. The date of the AGM has been set for Tuesday 22nd October.

We still NEED a Treasurer nominated and accepted, this is a critical role that we have to have on the committee, so please consider it if you can.
