NZLARPS AGM 2013 - National Committee Nominations

I would like to second both Russ and Rowena.

I would like to nominate Michelle Burt for national president.

I’ll second Michelle Burt, if she accepts.

I accept

I accept nomination for secretary.

I nominate Idiot for national secretary.

As I’ve previously mentioned to others: I live in Palmerston. I do not Skype, and I will not have a webcam in my house. I could attend physical meetings in Wellington if there are other members there, since I’m down there pretty regularly, but I am concerned about whether I could properly fulfil the responsibilities of the role.

If people think that I could, then feel free to second me.

The national committee does all its business in emails and forums in my experience.

The only exception was a single physical meeting years ago when most members were in Auckland.

You’re listed as “Applied”. Which means that you’ve presumably paid at some stage, and we’re just waiting for the national treasurer and secretary to update the database.

Anna is sending me the accounts so the database will be updated asap.

Hi Everyone

To deal with some issues the AGM has been delayed. I will announce the new dates for Wellington and National AGMs soon, the Auckland AGM will follow approx. 2 weeks after. There are some new motions being put forward to vote on so I hope everyone takes the time.

Up until 15 days before the AGM nominations and new motions and agenda items can be submitted, so if there is anything else please get them in now.

The National Committee still has no National Marketing Officer nominated (Bryn Jones has been nominated but not accepted), so if anyone wishes to step up for this role that would be good.

Idiot has been nominated and accepted.

He’s also been nominated for National Secretary though, and can only hold one position, so another nominee would be good.

It is with regret that I must decline the nomination for national treasurer. At this stage I am planning to be outside of nz for a large period of next year. I think you need a treasurer who can be, you know, present.

In my place I nominate the very capable Jon Ball

National Marketing Officer: No current nominations
National IT Officer: Nicholas Wolf (Nominated and accepted)
