If anyone would like to stand for National IT Officer, I would be happy to not stand this year.

I don’t feel that I’ve been able to give enough time and effort to improving the websites that NZLARPS hosts and doing any other IT innovations, and it could benefit from someone with more availability.

I could still fulfill the role of Diatribe administrator if the new IT Officer desired me to, as it’s an appointed role. I’ve not had any trouble keeping up with the administration of Diatribe.

I would like to nominate myself for the position of National Technology Officer.

I am currently employed to use the same software and code languages that are used to maintain the NZLARPS websites, and have a few years of experience with them, so I am confident in my ability to both maintain and improve upon the NZLARPS websites.

I have discussed the position responsibilities and intentions with Ryan, and I think that I can improve upon and keep up to date the NZLARPS websites in such a fashion that best suits the needs of the community and the Society within the year that I might hold the position.

While I think I have the time and energy to devote to the maintenance and improvement of the NZLARPS websites, I would very much like to take up Ryan’s offer of keeping him on as administrator of the Diatribe forums.

Hi Guys, thank you for the nomination, I do appreciate it. But I do think it’s time for some fresh blood, I have been doing that role for 2 years now and I think it’s important to have new ideas and a change in committees from time to time.

Plus I have a lot of writing I am working on at the moment :slight_smile:.

So I would like to nominate Ryan Paddy for the position of National President if he has the time.

Thanks, I’d like to be able to accept but if all goes to plan the coming year will be much too busy for me to do this role justice.

It’s just not the right time for me to run for this position, so unfortunately I must decline the nomination.

A reminder people, there is a week to get nominations in, NZLARPS needs the committees to keep everything running, so if you have the time step up and nominate yourself or get a friend to nominate you.
