When the director went to pick up the bbq from his dads place, the stunt coordinator went, “Wait, wait, Now he’s gone, lets do some real work!”

We had 1/2 the movie in the can by the time he got back in 2 hours time.

1: Alan, stalk towards the camera, no stalk, be animalistic, you are organic, as opposed to the mechanical legion, who represent the technology … etc, etc (the director went on for 10 min in this vein while I lay on the ground.)

I’m really interested - what are those things that amateurs do that they shouldn’t?

Most of the drama I’ve done outside Larping was involved with an amateur Operatic society when I was a kid and teenager. So… when I was on stage I was in the chorus, All-Singing, All-Dancing, and little dramatic range was required. I spent far more time in props, the lighting-box, or front-of-house, though.

I’ll always remember being the snowman. sighs nostalgically
