In that game it would depend on your character - in the first run, there were guys wandering around in suits, and ‘slum dwellers’ who had a very distinctive shared look, and various people going for bright colours. At default, modern day formal wear and use makeup or bits of wire as prostheses to suggest cybernetics.
Having just realised what the date is in relation to Chimera, I am officially freaking out costuming wise.
Friday night - Suit.
Saturday morning - Bald cap, robes/kimono.
Saturday afternoon - Fantasy villagers outfit.
Saturday evening - Anyone know where I can pick up a kimono? Also glasses and grey hair dye.
Sunday morning - casual every day wear.
Sunday afternoon - Suit again.
I’ve just finished my Gordian Knot outfit. It’s very heavy on black. 
Apart from that, I don’t have much left to do - sewing some stripes on a dress and sorting out an apron. For everything else I can pretty much adapt other stuff I’ve made.
Soooo - I need a severed head.
It needs to be light, so it can be supported by one of my fake arms. At this point I’m thinking of stuffing a halloween mask, but there’s not much in the way of full-head masks on trademe or the shops here. Ideally it should have hair so I can glue the fake hand around it.
Any suggestions? Anyone know where to get one/have one I could borrow?
Also I spent most of the weekend painting corpse arms 
They look awesome!
What about a large dolls head, second hand store?

I can do you a kimono.
You have a choice between:
Dark with rust stripes.
Steel blue.
Light blue with a temple painting on the back (technically an undergarment but who’s counting?)
Or blue and pink cherry blossoms. It’s definitely girly, but I’m not sure what your precise need is.
Sashes for boys are a bit iffier, but I can get you something to wrap yourself with.

Maybe this wednesday. I’m sure I have most of what I want, but its a case of getting it all in order and make sure it goes together properly.

Your helm is all painted but remember to bring cloth to wrap around the base. Unless you want to pay an extra $5 and have me do it.

You sort your costume out first!! If you have a chance, I don’t mind paying to get a bit of cloth attached, but only if you have enough time.

Fri eve: CHECK (Half a suit with a nice sweater)
Sat morn: Still need to finish. Will be offensive and/or highly amusing (pasty, midget Scotsman trying to be a big, buff Fijan)
Sat avro: Need to make the headdress and get my staff ‘attachments’ (evil cackle goes here) but the rest I’m borrowing from a very kind Mr Agnew.
Sat eve: CHECK (If simple, I regret to say)
Sun morn: CHECK (I think. Haven’t actually got costume suggestions)
Sun avro: CHECK (Suit and trilby. Of course I already have this)

Warning Ape suits are HOT, though considering how cold it is at the moment that might be a good thing.
(if you get stuck let me know if you want pieces of an ape suit…not like I have one sitting amongst my costumes in the garage or anything

With all the flagship work sewing has moved down my list od prorities 
so I have ordered a dress from online for Little Dipping, and now I anxiously await its arrival… boy I hope it makes it here on time!
