So, your favourite muscian (IMO, the best composer of the 20th century) dies at 53 before you had the chance to see him in concert.

And then, 14 years later, his son tours with original members of the band, playing his father’s music. Including Steve Vai.

But they only play Australia.

Would you go ?

I’m flying out tommorrow.

The tour site reckons there are still tickets left, but then there’s the question of getting to Sydney. Maybe you can get a student standby, or use up some airpoints ?

Turns out tommorrow’s gig is on the 14th anniversary of Frank’s death. Hopefully this will make them rock out longer and harder.
