Not just zombies. Cultists and religious fanatics. One of my friends is making a short movie to work the kinks out before the main film and I told him we probably had the most experienced zombies in New Zealand. Please come along and help. We did the horrible early morning scenes last weekend and we’re hoping to do the zombie scenes next weekend. You don’t need any makeup or equipment. Come along and help kill the heros. (They all die in the last zombie wave)
when/where?
The main event is tentativly set for the weekend after next. A few of us are going on Saturday (13th) to get some scenes done. Boring stuff like walking shots and setting up camp and background. Then we’re staying overnight and filming the zombies and cultists on Sunday. (14th) They don’t have to be there till 1pm.
Where and who do we contact?
Currently I’m the contact but tommorow at training I should get the final details and then not only will I have more information about times and places but I’ll get the contact details for the director.

Things didn’t go as planned and I didn’t get home for 4 days. Zombie scene still to happen. Very tentativly planned to try in one month but no exact date currently. We spent ages filming the other scenes so it should just be the mass cultist and zombie scene to come.
Right. Seeing as Dylan did not, in fact, post any useful information about the specifics of the project like he said he would, I am going to do it myself. This is very tentative, but at this moment in time unless otherwise stated, the details for the cultist/zombie horde are as follows:
Sunday 21st March 2010
Hoping for an 11am muster with cameras rolling no later than 12:30pm
Woodhill Forest, Coast Road, Muriwai
White loincloths for the guys, white togas for the girls (we will provide these but bring your own if you have one)
We are filming RAIN OR SHINE, though we will humbly ask Thor for good weather beforehand
Bring: Water, a towel you don’t mind getting completely red with fake blood, costume, umbrella (just in case)
To express your interest please send me a PM. Tell your friends, family, whoever you think might be interested. We need at least thirty to make this look right, but we will happily accommodate a hundred if we get that many. If you can help with transport, please definitely let me know. We’ll try to recruit members of the public too, but the more LARPers we have who are comfortable in their own element the more full-on it will be for all of us.
