Witches! Monks! Knights! And ... Nicholas Cage?

First I’ve heard of this movie. Not the biggest fan of Mr. Cage - but I can’t pass up Ron Pearlman, wolves and swords!

Wow, it’s like they took a small chapter of St Wolfgang’s and made a movie…

Yeah, I thought that a little.

But of course I’m seeing Wolfgang’s in everything at the moment!

I think they should have found someone more manly to play Rainier. Nicolas Cage is too wimpy.

Is that Christopher Lee as a syphilitic cardinal?

It really is

Finally got around to watching this trailer - that could totally be a St. Wolfgang’s plot: “Transport the suspected witch to the monks. Along the way, there’ll be attacks and stuff, and eventually you’ll be forced to unravel the mystery behind the plagues and destroy the witch.” I’m kinda gutted we didn’t think of it first.

They really should’ve cast someone else as Rainier…

It’s ok Anna. We’ll just take a leaf out of Mephistopheles’ book and rewrite it.

Of course, we’ll need a slightly larger special effects budget.

Pfft. Hardly. It it was St Wolfgang’s you would all be trying to recruit her. She’d fit right in, too. :unamused:

“By any means necessary”

With the exception of interrogating Nymphs apparently.

Has Cage been locked in one and forced to act in fantasty esque films for the key to his aformentioned cage or somthing?

That looks like it has some gorgeous special effects and very pretty things to look at.

Shame about the miserable acting!!

(I wants me a baby gargoyle dragon!!!)

Me tooooo! So cute!

Sadly I have to agree with the guy on the Youtube comments that said he would go see this movie if they’d cast anyone else. Even in the trailer it sounds bad. :frowning: Another one for dvd release, I guess.

See, I’m of the opposite opinion. If it’s all about the pretty stuff then I want to see it in the theatre. And better to suffer bad acting in company, I say.

I don’t like to waste money on a movie I know will be crap, even if it is pretty. But then, I hardly ever go to the movies anyway.

Looks interesting, but I think I’ll wait until it hits dvd.

I saw this trailer the other day and thought it look funny/cute.
