In the dark, fluid, potential laden hours that slip between one decade and the next a young woman, laden with fur cape and crinoline, scurries into a hall light by an eerie red glow. Minutes later a be-whiskered older gentleman, clad all in red follows her in. The village knows the Winterdale Society for Intellectual Inquiry are meeting there tonight and inquisitive young misses and lads peer out from cottage windows to watch the eccentric rich in their sleighs glide by. What they do not know is that the Winterdale Intellectual Society is a front for a much older and darker organisation, the Enlightened Society of the Weeping Moon, a group renowned for their bizarre behaviour and their fascination with the occult. The Current Master, Alfonse Worthington, passed away several weeks ago and tonight the council members are making the pilgrimage through the winter snow to elect their new Master on the most auspicious night for new beginnings of the decade, the 31st of December, 1859.
Uncover the secrets that lurk within in a night of mystery, intrigue and, that staple of all societies, social manoeuvring. This Victorian larp is the first game in an on-going campaign that will run for the next two years. Characters are prewritten and will be posted shortly.
There are 20 player spots in the game and 5 crew spots. Your spot is not guaranteed until payment is received. Characters will be assigned on a first paid, first in basis.
