When is a Larp not a Larp?

I’d be keen, dependent on cost and timing.
I’m also not phased about being shot at or hit. I used to play a fair amount of paintball both indoor and outdoor so being hit is no biggy. I’d love to be armed even if I am not actively in a combat role… I’m not sure I could contain myself if there wasn’t at least some chance I’d get to pull a trigger. Even if it just meant I got horribly shot to pieces.

I would love to be involved in something like this! I’m fine with being shot at too.

I said you would not be directly shot at as I was not how people would react to the chance of getting hit, but if it is ok then that is cool. the rounds we use are not normal paintball rounds but a smaller size.43 caliber which hit with much less impact.

If I had my way, being full milsim I would have though if you didn’t secure your weapon, it could be ‘redeployed’ by another party.

Of course if you were to try and snatch a weapon away from someone’s hand it could be a no no.
But if you were able to draw it out of their holster I would think it was fair.

Of course it would depend on the role being undertaken but I’d be happy with a side arm or something. I’m thinking civilian contractor in a hot zone probably not wanting to be completely unarmed. Or military scientist. Or anyone likely to have at least something on them.

As for being shot, as long as I’ve got some good goggles, I’m happy.

I’d be up for it.

I’ve been planning to get into Airsoft for some time…so I’m ok with being shot at.

Few questions though…

Would it just be RAM/Paintball or would it be Airsoft as well?
How do mesh googles fair with the Smaller size Paint balls are they a no-no like on “full size” paint ball? (I wear glasses and they tend to fog with non-mesh goggles)

it will be a mixed caliber/platform game airsoft and RAM

Nope mesh goggles would not work at all since the powder and paint rounds break on impact and this would allow foriegn objects into the eye which would be bad, solid glass goggles only
if you have problems with fogging (Join the club) there are treatments that work as antifog.

check out this site, Tactical Solutions is the go to shop for the RAM community, have a chat to Alex and he will tell you all about what is allowed and what isn’t.
