What is the plan re the shed and the gear?

I know that Chantelle uses racks like these to store costumes:

I like racks because the costumes get aired and less crinkly.

Might help the crew room to be less “smelling of feet” if the costumes are aired out between games rather than stuffed back in boxes damp and dirty.

That’s exactly the sort of thing i had in mind Derek, cheers
Perhaps leave the rope handles in, it will make dragging them into place easier when we have them set up as seats.

For carrying, I expect people will lift from the base, holding where the base meets the feet. 150mm is not that long, and I don’t expect the top overhang to get in the way.
That’s a 15cm edge sticking into your arm if you use the handles, or your chest/neck if you try to lift from the bottom as you suggest. It’s big enough to be a pain. Why not just drop this back to say, 50mm, and have the rope handles higher? They only need to be above half-way on the chest proper.

Sure, we can chop it off. I put the top at 1500mm long because that used all the plywood and gave more to sit on. We can probably leave this kind of decision 'til the day we build them. If we build them. Chopping them off is closer to the medieval examples I’ve seen anyway.

Does anyone know if a decision was made at the nzlarps meeting tonight?

Very cool

Once built, we can even have a play at decorating them and stuff!
