What are you running at Chimera?

I’m just too impatient to wait for the Chimera website to go up, so how about those who have submitted games for Chimera give us a quick preview of what is to come?

I’ll start:

My game is “Boffo’s Birthday Bash”, a game set in 1920s high society in the style of PG Wodehouse.

Catnip

I’m rerunning my cyberpunk game by the name of “The Ch’akta Peace Accord”. Set at a celebration of 5 years peace from The Great Interstellar War. Think Neuromancer meets Alien, without the horror.

I’m running The Bell, a science fiction suspense game set on a spaceship.

Jenni and I are running “You are cordially invited to…”, Our superhero wedding reception game.

Mike Young’s Colonel Sebastian T. Rawhide’s Circus of the Spectacular!!!

I’m running ‘Corbett and Grimes, Private Detectives’, based in part on Super Sparkle! GX. Think Film Noir, drunken writers and lots of related chaos…

Jared and I are running “Forgotten Gods”, a sword-and-sorcery adventure in Robert E. Howard’s Hyborian Age.

Dave Agnew And I are Running “House On The Hunted Hill” its based on a Hit Vincent Price Film Made in 1959 - Eccentric millionaire Fredrick Loren and his 4th wife, Annabelle, have invited 12 people to the house on Haunted Hill for a “haunted House” party. Whoever will stay in the house for one night will earn ten thousand dollars each. As the night progresses, all the guests are trapped inside the house with ghosts, murderers, and other terrors

Clare and I will be running One Night in Heaven again. Come and play at being a deity and deciding the fate of the world for the next 1000 years.

I also may be running Little Dipping’s Great Experiment. Which is Victorian/Regency Gothic with a splash of romance thrown in.

As with every Chimera there will be Bad Dreams. We’re running Hurricane Hotel this year, a hotel dinner during the storm of the century. Nothing could possibly go wrong.

I’m running a one-off Jade Empire game. It’ll be more murder-mystery than dungeon bash. Thanks to Erin for letting me piggyback off her hard word

Hmm, it occurs to me that I should put a disclaimer about this year’s Bad Dreams: Hurricane Hotel. The game is very roleplay heavy with very mature themes, this is a psychological, paranoid thriller.

Ecumenical Matter for me, a bit of tongue in cheek fun. Should be a laugh, and there may even be cake!!!
