The balance of the Wellington regional account on 1 September 2024 was $3,719.30. The balance on 1 September 2024 was $6,165.34, giving an increase of $2,446.04. As with last year, much of this money - almost $4400 - is funds received for Consequence 4, and will be spent on running the game.

NZLARPS Wellington completed one project this year (Consequence 3), which made a post-GST profit of $261.28. It is partway through another (Consequence 4), which is expected to make a similar-sized profit once all the bills are paid in October. We also received a donation of $159.97 from “Whoops, All Stalins!”

While the level of larp activity is low (curse the pandemic!), we are slowly rebuilding our finances. We would welcome more projects to help with this.

A report in the same format as last year, showing transactions and a summary of the types of revenue and expenditure is attached.

Regional Director Report:
As stated elsewhere, LARP activity has been low, but things are slowly being rebuilt. There is clear want and desire for more LARPs, and Consquence attendance (with its next game shortly) continuing to build enthusiasm shows this. Along with that, there is clear creative drive in the community, wanting to write new larps or run them, and I would encourage the future committee to help foster this if they can.

I have been in this position for several years, and decided not to run again to redirect my energy into attending and helping run LARPs where possible. I wish the new director and committee the best, and thank you all for the opportunity these past years!
