It’s official! 
At last night’s committee meeting, an official motion was passed for the creation of the very first regional branch of nzLARPS in Wellington.
There is still a fair bit to go in getting everything set up, but let’s give a warm welcome to our new friends in Wellington - it’s great to have you guys on board, and we look forward to working and larping with you all in the future!
Thank you for your hard work on this, Anna, it’s very much appreciated. (And thanks to the rest of the committee.)

Old time LARPer, just joined Diatribe. Used to LARP in Auckland many years ago, was in Brisbane for a long time, been in Wellington now a few years. I have also done a lot of SCA, Alfs Imperial Army, McGillicuddy stuff, etc.

We’re slowly gathering up all the various bits and bobs we need to apply for incorporated status. Big thanks to Anna for all her help thus far.

Stephanie ran her fantastic birthday party larp for us a few weeks ago, and Donna is running an intriguing larp at Fright Night. Scott’s gearing up to run Dark Hart of Camelot the second weekend of December. Kapcon is in January with it’s signature larp event on the Saturday night. Next up, we’re hoping to host Anna as she runs Fleet Street for us (most likely in March, date to be confirmed). We’ve also got a 2-day immersive middle ages zombie fest in development, so there’s certainly a lot of cool stuff happening down here.
We’ll be adding out events to the calendar on Diatribe and always encourage out of town players to come down for a game. Just send me a message if you’re keen and need a place to stay.

Good to hear from you, we’d love to see you at some of the events we’ve got planned, I’m thinking the next one, Dark Heart of Camelot may be just your thing.
