Weekend Review

Yay! That was awesome! [bounce bounce bounce]
And I wish to make another thank you to the organising team and to Anna, lead cat herder, who did a fantastic job.

Ow, my aching feet. Alas, my complaining back. What a wonderful weekend.

I am not capable of bouncing at the moment but I agree with the sentiment. I had a fantastic time, got the chance to play with some great people and also think made some interesting new friends. Everyone was friendly and welcoming.

Will definitely be back next year.

[Manages to withstand the pain for long enough to post.]

Excellent weekend. Haven’t enjoyed myself in a while, or met so many good peoples. Am definitely coming next year. Just try and stop me fools…

Oh just another thing, can some one tell us poor Wellingtonians who won the best costume, best player and best game?

We were discussing different games we played in and players we played with during the weekend, while we waited at the airport. And was a bit gutted to be there to hear.

Thanks

I’ve posted the awards list, Scott

Glad to have you guys on board already for next year. Pencil it in for August 20th-22nd 2010. I’ll call Motu Moana later in the week and book it in

Done. Don’t know what we’re running yet, but we’ll try and come up with something.

I will be in Dunedin next year, but I’ll make it if I can!

We forgot to thank Zanii for the weather. She said she’d have a word with the big guy and it seemed to have worked.

I would once again like to thank everyone who came and had a great time at Chimera. It was cool to see the variouse levels of excitement in the breaks between games, and the stories that came out as well.

I am definatelt going to have to come up with a plan that will allow me to play next year, as I was a smidjin jealous of all the fun.

I would also like to apologise if I came off as a bit of an authoritarian during the weekend. Those that dont know me, I am really a nice person, really…

I think every year we learn what can be done better etc. but I dont think we did too badly considering this was only our second event.

I hope to see everyone back again fo Chimera 2010.

Nikki

Moosafa humbly thanks you
Thank you for being a highly excellent Sir William and it was an absolute pleasure to meet & rp with you!

I arrived home at 7.30. I was tired and sore beyond belief. I can’t remember a time where I had felt more tired or sore. I stumbled from my car and couldnt even lift my bag from my boot, had to get my flatmate to help out. Got my stuff inside, briefly said hello to my cat, fell on my bed and went to sleep. Got out of bed 12 hours later, still feeling sore

BUT IT WAS WORTH IT! Man, the weekend was amazing. I had so much fun with it all:D Amazing roleplaying and amazing costumes all around. Not to mention the amazing writing and organisation everywhere. Sign me up for next Chimera!
