Wanted, old (preferably free) cicycle bits

Hi folks,

Looking for the following items,

pre-loved old bike frame, adult size, doesn’t have to be anything fancy or in totally perfect condition, just structurally sound, rear wheel, pedals and chain, front fork assembly, front wheel optional.

Also if possible 12 inch wheel and front forks off kiddies bike.
This is for a steam punk build project, so i’m really looking for bits that people are gonna throw out, or have been sitting in the garage, lair, cave, black pit of N’kai rather than something people want to to sell.

any one who can help me with any or all of these bits please pm me

thanx.

Sounds fascinating.

I don’t have any bicycle bits, but I have a MIG welder and a serious amount of metal working tools

and I love steam punk - I’m sitting here wanting to punk a laptop

penny fake-thing?

[/quote]That sounds a lot like Cat’s bike. She had to take off and abandon the front wheel after her bike lock rusted shut. Not sure what she’s done with it, I’ll ask.

You’re welcome to the bits, David, if you can get it to Auckland.

Hang on, might be able to piggy-back it into a friend’s car trip. Must think on this.

It’s been out in the rain for a good long while, though. I don’t know if any of it works.
