Beth, the Auckland secretary, has resigned due to time commitments. We’d like to thank her for her years of service for the society.
The committee is asking for volunteers to be considered to fill the secretary role until the next AGM, as per section 24(b) of the NZLARPS Constitution.
The responsibilities of the position are:
Regional Secretary
Keep all club correspondence in an organized fashion. Send letters as required. Send reminders of meetings to committee members. Take minutes at meetings and distribute to committee members. Communicate decisions made by committee to members.
Currently this requires attending meetings once a month on a Monday evening in Glen Eden, taking minutes of the meeting and posting them to diatribe in a timely manner.
