Aucklanders who are still looking for a costume: Cheap as Chips has leotard and leotard-style swimsuits for fairly cheap. I picked up one for $6 today.

An update to all:

We currently have one space open for the role of Lily O’Hanlon, and we are very much looking to fill it. It’s a female role, but it can be easily rewritten. Worried about getting a costume together in a week? Don’t! This is the one character who does not require a fantastic costume - or any costume at all. Regular clothes will do fine.

So, if you are interested in playing in an awesome Superhero game (which had people so interested it filled up on the first night!), please email myself at k.of.blades@gmail.com, or Blair, and we’ll be happy to get you in.

Note: This is in the Saturday morning slot. Please be free this slot before emailing, as I’m not out to poach players from other games. (Nexus excluded :stuck_out_tongue:)

Ok, as of last night, everyone should have their full character sheet. Please let me know if you haven’t recieved it.

Well, that went better than either of us could have expected. I know I speak for both Blair and myself when I say that we can’t thank you enough for your votes, and we’re so very, very glad that everyone enjoyed the game.

Going into the weekend, I had heard a lot from some people who hadn’t managed to get a place in Truth, Justice, and Spandex! (filling up on the first night was astonishing for me), and so I decided that if it went well, I would see to it that it ran again at a later date. I guess I kind of have to now.

Therefore, for all those who played: I would love to hear feedback from you. Your favourite moments, characters, and more importantly, the things that you think could have been improved. I’m confident that with your input the game can become even better. So, if you have something to say, please email me at k.of.blades@gmail.com, or send me a PM here. I’d really love to hear from you

And once again, thank you!

Edit: Once again, something that I said to the players at the beginning of the game, but it should be said once more - I want to thank Rowena for helping the both of us in writing our game. Having the advice of someone experienced really made a difference.

[Removed because of spoilers]

Thanks Steph

Yes, We are planning on running TJS! again in the future, so if you’d like to post some awesome moments below, and they may spoil it for future players, chuck a spoiler warning in there at least. I too would love to hear any feedback and/or awesome moments.

And I want to congratulate everyone on their costumes, you all looked amazing and it added so much to the game
