For all thoes who don’t know me my name is Zannii, i am a 7th form student from Western Springs College and I am interested in interviewing people for a school documentary I am going to be making in August on the transgender community of New Zealand.
This documentary is for NCEA/high school and will not be screened in any place other than my school. I genuinely want to express the story & feelings of the transgender community of NZ in my short film as I feel the youth of my school can be insensitive or uninformed about transgender people. The film will feature a history the plight of transgender people over time and a introduction to what being transgender means (the difference between being transgender and cross dressing etc) and generally try to raise the level of understand and respect within my fellow students.
