I have a pair of new hob-nail leather boots I got in a garage sale, that are actually too big for me, so would like to on-sell them to other larpers if they are interested. And with Chimera being the biggest coming together of larpers in the city, it got me wondering whether it would be appropriate for Chimera to have a “bring & buy” table for others who have a few larping costumes/props to get rid of.
Considering the security issues, I suppose having a table set up all the time would be a hassle, so how about a table over a break time, such as lunchtime saturday? Either the owners of the goods could hang around at the table, or leave their stuff with a note about who to contact and price.
Or a noticeboard near registrationg desk with list/photo of stuff available, and who to contact, so things could be kept in the bunk-rooms / cars.
Is there anyone else out there would use this sort of thing and / or is it too much hassle for the organisers to cope with?
