Anyone seen this movie? Any good?
This trailer really intrigues me!
Hmm, it appears to indulge the ultimate myth of Why Larp Is Dangerous: what happens when participants lose perspective, and start believing the game is real ?
This myth was perpetuated when D&D mainstreamed, with stories of uni students going bush and living as their characters would have, but I supposed it is more believable given the immersion qualities in a good larp.
While it might be a good story in and of itself, I don’t know if I could immerse myself (i.e. suspend belief) enough to enjoy it.
I watched a review that was pretty positive. That the characters have compelling character arcs both in their real lives and their larp character lives. I’d be keen to give it a watch.
Everything I’ve heard is pretty terrible. It apparently portrays larpers are crazies.
Oh boo. Ah well.
