Couldn’t find a bloody pair of boots I liked anywhere.
So I went to Mongolia.
Right now somewhere in Mongolia someone is making me a pair of custom boots. Because they’ll be perfect for my Teonn costume. Granted, I’ve always wanted a pair of boots from these artisans… I guess that makes Teonn my enabler?
… If you need me I’ll be sitting by my front door waiting for the courier driver to arrive.
Yes, Teonn is totally your enabler. Or larp in general, perhaps. On that note, I’ve hunted high and low in your post for a link to these Mongolian Deities of Bootmakingness. Not that you should put one. Nope. I don’t need boots so you definitely shouldn’t. I already spend more money on costumes than on real, everyday clothes.

The shipping is prohibitive though. $57 US. I thought it was worth it to have unique boots. Unless one of you lot goes and orders a pair.

I love their traditional wrestling boots; it was hard not to buy a pair of those.
Mongolian wrestling isn’t done in a ring ala WWE or anything like that. It’s done on grass, outdoors, where pair of boots would be appreciated. They otherwise wear naught but a wee pair of underpants and what looks like a child’s sweater. And the boots.
