Yes, it has finally happened! The documentary that started two days before the Solstice game in 2005 is finally ready to be seen.

The film has been entered into the DOCNZ Film Festival which is next February. We will have to wait a while to hear if it is in the festival or not.

So, in the meantime we’re having a PRIVATE screening. Please come if you were involved in Mordavia. You are welcome to bring friends and family but as it is a private screening please don’t advertise it anywhere. It’s free.

Thank you all for your support, encouragement and enthusiasm during the making of the film. And also for your patience!

We are still hoping to get it into the DOCNZ film festival next feb so this is NOT the premiere (at this stage). It’s just a Private screening before I leave the country.

A DVD will be available but will be at least 6 months as you can’t be entering festivals with a DVD on the street already…

Will keep you posted.

Well, that was awesome and I’m glad I got to go see that. Wonderful work on the doco, Adam :slight_smile:

I’m working on an article about the documentary for Immersion, and I’d love to hear what viewers from the community thought - did you like it? what did you like about it? what stood out? How did it make you feel? How do you think it portrayed larpers? Did it capture Mordavia?

You don’t need to answer all those questions, I’m just interested in some thoughts :slight_smile:
