We’re having an EVENT (link to FB below)
Larping basics and Graduation Day LARP
LARP in Hamilton has seen some growth of recent times and to celebrate this and welcome new comers to the hobby we will be running a short LARP 101 workshop looking at the LARP available in New Zealand, different play styles, terminology and basic skills.
This will include a tournament of sorts in which people can test their skill against each other, including archery, swords work and team fighting.
We will then break for an evening meal before we cap the night off, as is fitting, with the parlour (social type) larp Graduation Day (approx 3 hours) will be held in the early evening. (Written by Donna Giltrap)
Sufficient interest will allow multiple games to run simultaneously, there is room enough for everyone to enjoy the game.
Both new players and existing are very welcome.

This event went well. Graduation Day can only be recommended as a beginner larp. Looks like we have a few more people calling themselves larpers now!
Thanks to everyone who turned up.
