Hi everyone! Next month Michael and I are running our Blackadder/Borgias LARP, and we’d love for you to come along!

The Bloody Murder of the Foul Prince Romero and his Enormously Bosomed Wife

Tonight is Crown Prince Carlo Borghese’s huge party. It’s for a few reasons: he’s about to be crowned king, his daughter is now betrothed, and he wants to name his heir to the throne. The palace isn’t quite big enough to have invited the whole Kingdom of Sicily, but it sure feels like the whole kingdom is here. There’s a few notable figures invited, and even a performing troupe has been hired for the night’s entertainment.

What can go possibly wrong?

This is a theatreform LARP for about 25 people, based off the Blackadder episode of the same name with other inspiration also taken from Shakespeare, The Borgias, and similar sources.
The setting is a big royal party in 1500s Sicily.

NZLARPS members and students: $15
Non-members: $20

Please note that if we get more registrations than we have characters, you’ll likely be approached and asked if you’d like to play a staff member for the night, though the venue will have a comfortable-numbers limit.

We’re casting this week, but there’s still some more slots to be filled! Especially if you can do magic tricks, or are particularly good at being a nasty character. More updates shortly.

Some of you will have recieved emails about characters last night! Those of you who have got back to us, we appreciate that greatly. We’re aiming to have character sheets sent out sometime around Nov 1st, so please bear with us as we continue to write madly :slight_smile:

PSA: We’re full up! Any further registrations we may get from now on will be put on a waiting list, should someone drop out. Alternatively, you may be asked to crew an NPC for us.

Its a good idea to sign up for the waitlist, because inevitably someone will get sick. It also lets the GMs know who to bug when they run the game again.

Does anyone know an Adrian Senk? There’s been no response from him and we’d like to confirm that that last character will be played.

If for whatever reason you don’t have yours yet or you’ve lost yours, please let us know. Flick us an email at thebloodymurderlarp at gmail dot com.

We are refining some things on the character sheets, so please don’t be too alarmed if you get small amounts of new information on the night. These won’t break the game you were expecting, hopefully they’ll only enhance it. :slight_smile:
