Amazing story about a kid that gets to be a superhero for a day.
wow! that’s an incredible story! almost made me cry… such a cool thing for a young boy to experience.
We had a young boy come over from the UK to ‘be’ one of the Power Rangers for a couple of days. I’m a huge fan of the things that the Make-a-Wish foundation does for these children - it wasn’t just a great experience for him, it was a great experience for all of us involved, and that particular one sounds absolutely amazing!
That’s the best thing I’ve read in a while. I love how the entire city got into it! That boy must’ve had a blast.
Perhaps one day some of us could consider putting together a LARP for children in similar situations - perhaps even in conjunction with the make a wish foundation over here. I am sure there are plenty kids with cancer who want to be a knight or superhero, and we do seem well equipped to provide them with such an experience. Just a thought.

I’d be keen to be involved with something like that. Nothing like giving a kid in a nasty situation a reason to smile.
