Sunday morning, Sword and Shield Training
Hi everyone,

This is still going. If you missed the Teonn training days, or you still want some more practice, or you just wanna hang out with some other LARPers for a couple of hours on a Sunday, then come along. It’s good fun (and can be fairly good exercise), and you’ll improve your combat skills. There’s only three more weekends until Teonn, so if you want to make sure you’re ready to fight off/be part of the ravaging crew hordes, get along to this  Roughly 10am-12pm Sundays, in Cornwall Park along the side of Pohutakawa Drive, in the Green Lane entrance to the park (see here).
And now that we’re on the other side of Teonn, I’m going to push this again :stuck_out_tongue: I’m planning to be there every Sunday until Christmas (which by my count is another three), how’s about you?

I would like to come but I don’t have a sword or shield as I’m a newbie. Will there be spares?

I’ll try to come this Sunday 16th December. Otherwise the next one, I guess. I will try to drag my boyfriend along as it would be quite fun to hit him with a sword.

I really can’t guarantee that there will any spare equipment to borrow. But, so long as we at least get two swords (which would require me and at least one other person turning up, since I only have one sword), then we should be able to get something going.

I’m still keen if you think anyone else will turn up. I’m crossing my fingers and hoping.

I’m keen. I’ll be there with all my spares for people that need them.
