I too would definitely be keen, but I have neither sword nor shield, so would need to borrow something off someone.
Sounds great but the travel is a bit too much for me… half a tank of gas for the return trip. I would prefer say 4 hours of training a couple of times or even for a whole day workshop were a number of topics were covered to make it worth my while. But that’s just me. But I could probably rustle up a carload for such a session.
I’m interested (also Charles and Josie) but we are away overseas the following three weeks, so will wait with baited breath for a second series.
Maybe the second series can be a Saturday.

Will also have to wait for the second series (Hey Derek, we’re booking you for a second series already mmmkay?). Too many busy sundays at the mo, but dammitall, I did a little training last year in Cornwall Park, but I discovered last weekend that I’ve forgotten everything. >.<

Yes, that’s correct. But I prefer to train with a smaller shield, if I can, because it is a better learning tool. You learn things with a smaller shield that you can gloss over with a larger one.
