Sucessful Quest LRP completed!

“As they slowly shuffled towards us it was clear these foul abominations were indeed zombies, groaning slightly in the torment that is undeath. Four of the walking carcasses, armed with rusted and obscene weaponry, or with hooked and clawed limbs, their own even ripped from their bodies and weilded as clubs. I nodded briefly at my companion, a paladin and a marquis, our intent the same as we leapt foward to join the melee, and the Elf started to rain arrows into their midst on the flank. Within seconds the rotted creatures lay at our feet and the only thing left to do was remove their heads and boot them into the shubbery.” - Verdan Bearclaw (Druid)

A successful game completed in Hamilton this afternoon by any measure of the word. Many many Undead slain, extraplanar undead vanquished (after a quick trip to the village library to identify our foe) a demon incarcerated (yep thats right captured) and all ending in a trial with charges of treason laid against a Prince of the Realm, in which of course he was cleared.
A brave adventurer was banished from the realm (injustice served) for avaricious thoughts (guilt at a trial is not so useful but all other players pardoned and excused in full). A final twist was for the Prince to accept service with the Druids guild for the term of 2 years so that the Prince’s honor can be restored by the purity of service to nature.

Well done to the fine Orklanders who attended and played their parts well, the roleplaying was quite well done. We’ll have you in game anytime!
And thanks again for making the effort to come down to join us here in the Realm of Hamiltonia.

And thank you for inviting us  great game, and we will be back for more.

Again thanks for coming down to Hamilton, Dave, Alexia, Ange and Erin all made for a very interesting game.

Points of note:

Alexia leaving her footwear behind for the Druid (Verdan aka Jared) to pick up during a tactical withdrawl.

Alexia (spelling of her characters name escapes me) as an elemental, airily gliding into combat in elemental form, full of poise and grace.

Edit:Davids dive roll of well roleplayed pain due to a firebolt in the neck.

The looks of sheer terror when the undead clawing at the town gates where calling “master, master!” and then the realisation that the “bad guy” was in town with them.

And lastly the well played shock of Erin’s character realising that the Druid sitting to her side has just been replaced by a BEAR, gnashing toothily and noisily on an apple

Thanks and well done
Jared aka Verdan Bearclaw

High points of the module for me had to be the :

The undead at the gates scene, previously mentioned.

The realisation of doom of the accused party when the treasonous Prince blamed the party for treason. Also the Prince bribing the judge was very funny and totally unexpected.

The realisation that a captured NPC was actually the demon Vodka Martini and that he’d been summoning the myriad undead.

Watching one party with undead trailing them travelling from one direction meeting the other party with undead trailing them coming from the other direction. Big combat and I had the perfect spectators view.

A good day and good memories. Thanks to all the people that made it possible.

Brains…

Oh no , not again, quick walk briskly…

Don’t forget to chop off the head and boot it off into the bushes when its dead (again) :smiling_imp: Wouldn’t want some silly necromancer raising it again 'cause then you’ll have to deal with it once more. :open_mouth: They don’t stay dead very well

So i noticed, funny you mentioned that AFTER we past you and ran into them coming the over way

They were cropping up all over the place! Damn plague of zombies! Still a victory at days end!
Return again someday to the fair Realm of Hamiltonia… if nothing else we’ll always have more zombies!

Another high point for me, four brave adventurers trying to interogate a flower.

At least I hope that’s what they were doing. The other possiblities are to scary to contemplate.
