I was reading Ryan’s post about getting together as a community and doing something other than getting drunk :stuck_out_tongue:. It was a really good idea and I wish I’d read that thread sooner.

Annyways I was thinking how would people like to go out to Spookers as a group. At full price we can go for the Haunted House for $17pp or the Forest of Fear for $13pp or a combo of the two for $25pp.

If we can get a large enough group we may be able to get a discount, so please let me know when you would be interested in doing this. (see the poll).

It sounds like a really fun night and come on this is very similar to LARPing.

If enough people are interested we can even make a meal of it as they have banquet functions and it sounds like it may only be a couple of dollars more expensive than the combo package. Annyways let me know.

That sounds fantastic, and I’d really love to go, but those dates are all the night before an exam…is Saturday 24th an option at all?

Ok, can’t do either of the Thursdays and I’ve already got something planned for Fri 23rd June and couldn’t do 24th either.
How about Fri 30th Jun or Sat 1st July?
I live only about 5-10mins down the road from Karaka (where spookers is) so if its those dates I can offer my place as a staging place or somewhere to refturn to for coffee/drinks.

Sounds good to me. Can I now have some definate yes’es for Friday the 30th so that I can know numbers and see if I can organise a discount with Spookers (which probably wont work for less than 20 people but I’ll try anyway). If you know any Larpers or potential larpers that want to come and don’t check diatribe let me know that too please.

Please PM me so that I can keep easier track of numbers.

OK Ive spoken to Spookers and unfortunately there is no discount on at the moment for any group size. The Haunted house is $17 pp and the Freaky Forest is $13 pp, or we can do both for $25 pp. I’m kean to do both but I know not everyone wants to spend that much money. If we do both then it will take about 1 hour and its only takes about half that for either on its own.

I prepose we meet at Scotty’s at about 7 - 7:30 pm and head to the place around 8pm (which is when they open). Let me know if people are kean to do just 1 or both but it doesnt really matter as we do not need to book in advance.

You will need to dress warmly especially if we do the forest and we need at least 1 torch between 4 if we’re doing the forest.

Scotty please PM your phone number so we can arrange things or post your address here if your fine with plans as they stand.
