Ahhhhh i feel better a bit still want a smoke though. at exactly what point can i expect to go completely barking mad
you won’t, the first 48 hours are the hell ones, last time i gave up i ate 8 bags of chippies and 3 packets of biscuits, walked god knows how many Km and drove my second wife to distraction, day three sanity returned and i felt 20 times better.
Hang in there carl, you doing great
Hang in there
Been there, done that. Exercise helps, or anything that breaks the link between wanting and getting. Avoid smokers for the first few weeks as they will often try to lure back into the fold.
Everytime you get the craving try doing a sword form. You get fit, skilled and gain stamina and breath all at the same time.
As to madness ; remember, we were barking mad to start this habit in the first place, you have now decided to become sane.
Good luck
OK now this rips my undies…I have not been sick all year, and i work with kids, not even a small sniffle. 8)
I give up Smoking
and within a week I have a cold,
this is a set up right, some one is laughing at me aren’t they.
bastards
Very soon, as the nicotine looses it’s affect on your brain, you will begin to experience euphoria, well at least i did, the net effect was very much like being stoned without any of the negative side effects. I became very giggly, in fact I had to pull over in my car a couple of times because I thought it was unsafe for me to be driving in my state.
It was great, in fact I am almost tempted to start smoking again just to get that effect back.
Hang in there, it’s worth it.
nope nothing like that, I just feel sick
frustrated
bored
and alone
Come to the gear workshop on Wednesday. You can get a fix sniffing ADOS F2
Sounds horrid, and not unlike eeky Tuesday. So, I suggest eating copious amounts of smoked salmon to get your seratonin levels up.
Mmmm…salmon sushi…
If you’re not doing it already, I’m told it often helps to fiddle with stuff to keep your hands occupied. Medicine balls, crochet, those little puzzle things…
It may take a couple of weeks, although having said that, I never got any or the apparent withdrawal symptoms like nausea and cravings and the like, so maybe my experience is rare.
