Sherlock Holmes 2 movie outing, costumed, Friday 6th January

Hi everyone,

I’m organising a group to go see Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows on Friday the 6th of January at Newmarket, Auckland. It’s being organised as a fundraiser for BattleCry.

Tickets are $18. That includes the ticket, a goodie bag which includes a bag of popcorn and a raffle ticket for a draw at the end of the movie.

Costume is encouraged but not essential. There will be a prize for best dressed male and best dressed female.

Tickets can be bought from me(Karen) now up to the 3rd of January.

We are also being sponsored by First Scene and they have given us some discount vouchers for 20% off their costume hire or retail store. If you would like one of these vouchers for the movie outing message me and I’ll send you one.

We are up to 15 so far. If anyone would like to come along let me know. My cellphone is 0276694937. I’m buying the first lot of tickets tomorrow/Tuesday. I can grab more on Wednesday if there are people still wanting to go.

:frowning: Never mind. There will be future movie outings. Underworld 4 comes out this month… and a bunch of other cool things in the next couple of months. I’ll be organising groups to go see them too :slight_smile: Some will just be casual outings, some will be costumed, most will just be usual price of $13.50… I’m hoping to get 1 more BattleCry Fundraiser in before BattleCry happens too. Find me on Facebook (Karen Dransfield or BattleCry Convention) if you are keen for info on other film outings. I’ll post the bigger costumed ones here.
