Seattle MET Vampire Larp

I thought I’d offer a general invite to any LARPers looking for a campaign. I run a Vampire Larp set in Seattle, that runs the first Saturday of each month. It has been on a break over Christmas and will be starting up again on the 4th March.

While it is an AMERICA game it is open to non-members. It runs at University. Usually starts about 7pm.

I welcome players of all levels of experience in both larping in general and vampire games. I am happy to assist newbies where needed. If you’ve never played MET before but have been interested in giving it a go we are a pretty friendly bunch. :slight_smile:

I run a non-canon world as I like to be free to ignore some of the rubbish that WW has published. :smiley:

The current situation is that Seattle had been having problems with a group of Anarchs up from the Free States. The Anarch encroached into Portland in Oregan and seemed to have a personal vedetta against Seattle. Fear was high amongst the Kindred of Seattle.
Prince Talon led a force against the Anarchs in Portland and destroyed a number of vampires including their leader Baron Adrienne. However in order to get assistance from the beleagured Camarilla he agreed to head to the East Coast and assist with the war against the Sabbat there.

The Princeship has been seized by the Tremere Avomai. With a reputation of being an insane pyromaniac, can he provided stability to the city? How will the other Barons in the Anarch Free states respond to one of their own being destroyed? What are ambassadors of the Independant city of Vancouver doing here? How will the influential but strange and suspicious Sakima react to being banned from the city by the new Prince? Is there any truth to the rumours of werewolves and vampire hunters in Seattle?

This is a very fun game.

I urge everyone to come. The game is very political and has a deep backround, but for anyone that isn’t fimilar with “the world of darkness” it is rather simple to pick up (only a few of the terms and names are hard) and there is alot of info out there on the net.

I know that I for one will be returning as my gangrel elder.

Dont worry we don’t bite (well not other vampires…we could get blood hunted for that)

I’m going to blame the excessive lack of roleplaying I’ve done since moving to Wellington for this, but darnit, I miss that game.
Of course it’s also the fault of having a bloody excellent GM who threw me some awesomely brilliant plotlines. grins

Game still going, spaces still open…need more neonates.

Just an update of whats happening in this game.

Much has happened in the city of seattle recently climaxing with firey suicide of the last prince and the selection of the new prince. The hopes are that she will be more stable, but the fear is that her policies on defence will not be as heavy handed and firm, something that is needed with the cities position on the border of the anarch free states. The rocky truce with the anarchs and the defence against the sabbat in the west are holding, but for how long.
