Re the discussion of damage calls. I think the consensus was that for simplicity a number call would be preferable to a descriptive call.
Assuming that’s the path the game takes can I put out a suggestion. Looking at the rules the most common call will be for doing two points of damage with a double handed weapon. Rather than the traditional ‘Dou-ble’, can we consider calling ‘Two’.
It’s a shorter call and if said in the right (well technically wrong) way you can make it sound a bit ‘grunty’ like a sort of ‘strain of effort’ noise you’d make wielding a huge piece of steel in combat.
The same can be done to a lesser extent with “Three”, but the word “Two” really lends itself to it.
