Rolling pin
Defense of Nurumbug (Nuremburg? Nurumberg? Defense of that town wot begins wif N!) Does that work or clash with your game?

I bought my pool-noodle at lunch! Keen to see what I can do with it.
nope that’s cool my games in the morning and yours is in the afternoon on saturday.

Awesome. I’m getting latex today and will let you know how I get on over the weekend.

I reckon that pool-noodle foam may be prone to tearing. That might create a weak point where the 'handles" attach to the “roller”. If you hold the handle and whack someone with the pin, the handle might gradually tear off. Likely to only be a problem if the handles are thin.

I guess if this works then pool noodle might be a good material for some other improvised weapons, like bottles.

I dread to think what would happen if the Legitimate Seafarers good their hands on a few dozen larp-safe “bottles of rum” … that first salvo of flying foam would be truly terrifying to whichever foolish individuals interrupted the Seafarers’ drinking time.

I don’t aim for this to be my primary fighting weapon - just something to threaten with/throw once or twice.

That being said, I’ll make the handles a bit more thick than they might be IRL to account for the possibility of tearing.
