There seems to be a gap in the calendar in mid-late November, and so far no-one seems to be filling it. So we’re wondering whether to put on a small game at short notice. We’re not sure what to run, hence the poll; pick all that apply, and we’ll choose the game based on what seems to be the best fit.

In the event that someone else steps up to run a game in this time-slot, then we’ll go for either January 4 (with a smaller game), or simply run it at the next available slot in… April? next year (though I want to use that for Remedia Amoris, a Nobilis game about love)

Blurbs for the games:

A Serpent of Ash (12 players) (Modern ex-cultists)
Against the Night (9 players) (B5 waiting-room)
Betrothals and Betrayals (13 players) (Regency cupernatural)
Boffo’s Birthday Bash (20 players) (Wodehouse: Drones club)
The Devil’s Brood (9 players) (Historical: Lion in Winter)
Graduation Day (9 players) (Magic university)
Mansfield With Monsters (13 players) (NZ horror)
Much Ado About Something (14 players) (Shakespearian mash-up)
New Voices in Art (12+ players) (Nordic artists)

I am potentially willing to offer the first Wellington run of ‘Struck to the Quick’ in order to get it off my plate so I can start work on part 4 of the trilogy.

I admit, I voted for Boffo because I want to reprise my role and also because I want someone to write a sequel.

Boffo’s wedding? The seventeenth annual Drones’ Club cross-country rally and fat uncle race?

Having talked to Russ, it sounds as if he’ll run his Shakespearian metadrama, so I’ll bump to January 4th.

Yes please. I’d like one of those.

And now we have a 33AR day game happening on the 17th. Definitely January then.

Russ what happened to Angels in the Fog rerun?

Hmm, actually - that was on the backburner until early next year, but it appears that the 33AR day game is going to push off the Shakespeare game as well. So I’m at a bit of a loss. I don’t want to step on Idiot’s toes if he wants to run something in January, but I’m more than happy to offer either ‘Angels’ or ‘Struck to the Quick’ in late January, after Kapcon.

The World that Is session 3 is also 2 weeks after Kapcon. This Larp calender thing is fills up fast.

EDIT: I wonder how many people are around over the Christmas holidays. Struck to the Quick would be perfect as an afternoon game on a beach (in the sun this time) during the lazy period.

This is absolutely true; I’m just likely to be out of Wellington over the Christmas period, probably until just before Kapcon.
