Reminder: Wellington Regional AGM- September 11th, 12 noon

Now that Chimera is done and dusted, time to re-promote the AGM (which we did sent notice of a while back at the time we’re supposed to announce it)- I’ll be posting this on the Wellington Regional board, and sending out an e-mail to the usual Regional mailing lists.

Sunday 11th September - NZ Larps Wellington AGM - Northland Memorial Community Centre - 1 PM

Members of NZLARPs are invited to attend the AGM for the regional committee. This will include reports from the committee on the past year, our aspirations for the coming year, and elections for all positions: Regional Director, Treasurer, Secretary, Gear Officer, Marketing Officer and Ordinary Members (2).

This is an opportunity for members of the society to come along and find out what we’re doing to make and grow the LARP scene in Wellington, and have some input into where we’re going. We hope to see lots of you there.

The results of the elections for the Wellington Regional Committee of NZLARPS, held today as part of the AGM, are as follows:

Regional Director: Ellen Boucher
Regional Treasurer: Anthony Doornebosch
Regional Secretary: Chris Rosedale
Regional Gear Officer: Scott Kelly
Regional Marketing Officer: Bryn Jones
Regional General Officers: Donna Giltrap and Brooklynne Kennedy

These results were proposed as accurate by Paul Wilson, seconded by Sophie Melchior, and ratified unanimously by those in attendance.

Thanks Anna for the welcome- I think the coming year is going to be an awesome one for NZLARPS Wellington, and glad to be a part of it.
