The Red Hats are a volunteer organisation, with the mission to help Chimera run more smoothly.
This includes a number of tasks, but overall is a great deal of fun. This year we will be responsible for:
-Greeting People, especially those who are here for the first time
-Directing People, telling people where to go
-Introducing People, connecting players with their GMs and vice versa
-Telling People Things, including which game is being played and where
-Security for People, occasionally doing a few walks around the place for security purposes
-Keeping People Safe/Having a Good Time, including making sure people drink responsibly and/or get to bed on time.
You’ll note the word ‘People’ appears quite often. If you’re good with people, we want you to be a part of the Red Hat Brigade.
Why should you do this? You get to meet and talk with people. You get to wear a hat which is red and cool. You get assigned a callsign, eg “Red Two”. You get to be part of the group that promotes the Chimera spirit, the spirit of roleplaying, fun and community!
