Random act of kindness for someone's 70th birthday

Hey community,

My stepdad back home is turning 70 next month and my mom is trying to organise a bit of a snail-mail bomb for him as he loves getting mail in the post.

She’s asked me to ask my friends to consider sending him a postcard or a birthday card. Here’s her note below:

“Here is the NZ favor…Fred’s 70th birthday is next month. I’m having an Open House for him on the 12th. Fred adores getting mail. He reads every word - junk mail, political mail, everything. I want to surprise him with dozens of birthday cards. Please send him a card, or two. Ask your friends to do the same. He will be thrilled, and it doesn’t matter if he knows the sender or not”

I’d be so grateful if you could pop something in the post with a nice message for Fred. If you’d like to help me (and my mom) make this happy please send me a PM and I’ll give you the address (or check my FB). It’s been a rough year for Fred and my mom this year as he was diagnosed with dimentia so I’m really keen to bring a smile to his face.

My mom’s goal was to have dozens of cards reach friend. At this point it may well look like there will be dozens from NZ alone, which is overwhelming.
