Quest Waikato, in association with one of the Orkland Groups is organising a 3 day Live Role Play event in the 2nd weekend of May. This is provisional and all details are to be confirmed.

The Emperor of Orcland, Hamiltonia, Well in Ton, The christs church and all Realms of the world known as Zealandia are hereby gathered together to prove themselves by feats of magic and combat. The winner of these bouts to be acknowledged as the greatest in all the known realms of the flat earth of Zealandia[/size]

When; Friday, Saturday, Sunday May 11, 12, 13.
Where ; Paeroa way.
Cost ; $60. for all 3 days
$20 for just saturday day
$20 for saturday night banquet
Primary aged children and younger $10 for food
What ; Live Role Plays , a Feast and such like. Quest game and possibly Masquerade.

Rules will be Quest Lite.
Quest Lite rules will be available April 10 at www.questwaikato.com and follow the Questcon thread.

Masquerade rules will use the middle ages amendment.

Also wanted are speakers. If you want to hold a seminar on Live Role Play let us know. Also dealers liscences will be available if you want to sell real products, is cotume, armour and props. If you are interested on putting on a demonstration during Saturday, let us know.

Sounds great, the game the other night was awesome…My face paint kinda got smudged by the end though. Maybe I’ll use a marker pen next time.

Try a good eyeliner pencil first - will not smude as badly as paint, but you can get it off your face with moisturiser and stuff. Comes in pretty colours like black, blue, purple, green, brown…

I recommend it for Dwarves who don’t want to go with a chin-toupee.

Ummm, sorry but all these lands are ruled by the King & Queen of Lochac and the first two you mention are held in trust by me under an oath of fealty.

Ah well, part of being entrusted with these lands is defending them. If the threat looks organised and real, I might just be there with “the lads”…

I am confused, what exactly has the map Lochac to do with the lands of the flat earth known as Zealandia or the island continent of Hamiltonia?

Still going ahead. We have a site booked and are preparing food etc.

Rules will be Quest Lite. This is a simpler version of the quest rules so that alll players can participate.

When I told my fiancee about this weekend the first thing she said was “SO will they all be sharing the wenches around?” :smiling_imp:

I’m still not sure what to say to that, without signing my own death warrant that is.

On the upside I’m going (read as I’m allowed to go) to this event, so I will see all you fellow attendees there!

You are welcome to bring wenches to share. BTW - Quest is a genderless title system - a knight or a baron is the same wether you are male or female. I guess this extends to ‘wench’ as well - feel free to bring male wenches :smiling_imp:
