Potential Venue

I saw an article in the local newspaper last week which caught my eye - it starts : “Rannoch is a hidden gem in the heart of Epsom. The stunning three-storey house, built between 1913 and 1915 is home to a huge collection of NZ art owned by the James Wallace Arts Trust.”

Then later on " Rannoch is also used by charities to hold fundraising events, with everything from classical music concerts to afternoon teas taking place there. Mr Wood says they allow charities to use the property free of charge because the trust itself is a charitable organisation." (Trust manager is called Brian Wood)

Which reminded me of the discussion about NZLarps becoming a registered charity (for tax purposes), and whether this might be a spin off for doing that.

I’m guessing they wouldn’t want foam weapons amongst the art and sculptures, but a “Masquerade on Fleet Street” sort of game may be acceptable, even if we could just use the gardens - last remnant of the Mt Eden Lava Forest.
