What’s the policy in terms of players borrowing costumes from the NZLARPS gear library for Chimera?
On Sat afternoon I’m playing a friar. I suspect NZLARPS has lots of suitable brown hooded robes with rope belts and crucifixes that were acquired for Wolfgang.
Can players borrow costumes? If so, can we book costumes in advance to ensure the costume comes to Chimera and is available in that round? Or is that too much work for the organisers?
I’ve had a long think about this (hence the delay in replying) and would like to try the following approach for this year. I would like to leave it in the hands of the GM for each game:
Players may request to borrow nzLARPS gear via the GM for their game. The GM for the game then puts the requests in with their general game needs.
For example, Ryan would need to send an email to the GM of Much Ado and request a monk’s costume. The GM will then submit that request with the rest of their gear needs, and the Chimera Gear Organiser will be able to see across each round what each game needs in its entirety.
