Places to put posters around New Zealand

What places around New Zealand are good for putting up posters about Larping up?
I will start with what I know:
Auckland
King of Cards
Vagabonds
Heroes for Sale
Gotham Comics
Games Workshop (?)

Where have people put posters before?

Mark One Comics and games will (in Hamilton).
As well as the Vagabond down here.
Also the Uni and Tech.

Spotlight stores, in the month or so before Armageddon?

In Wellington:
Wargames Supplies
Graphic
Arty Bees will let you put cards and pamphlets in their rack, but not posters.

As I remember from Battlecry/America’s Cup stuff they were reluctent to put up any thing that was non GW war game related. So they were up for advertising the tournements at battlecry but not for america’s cup.

They may have changed their policy…but then again we know who the man to ask about this one is…

Universities and polytechs.

Does Auckland have any venues that have improv theatre performances or the like? There might be some in that community who’d be interested. Or the Auckland branch of the Actors guild (or whatever associations the art of acting possesses in NZ for its practitioners).

Anybody got any pull with any of the mentioned places? Also will anybody let us post some posters down to Wellington and Hamilton and put them up for us?

If you send me posters I will ask to have them put up in Vagabond and Mark One.

Gemma will probably put some up around the Uni if you ask her, otherwise I can ask my Mother in law to put some up there also.

Also thanks for the email contacts Idiot, but I need someone to post some hard copies to in Wellington, who will be able to put them up in strategic places. Is there anyone in Wellington willing to take on this task?

Very sorry but its a No from the chapter master. I have instead placed the poster in the capable hands of a sneaky little comic store :slight_smile: So its in a great spot Fingers crossed.
